FIBREGLASS GRATING TYPES

Below is a small selection and description of basic panels stocked and available to order.  All grating panels can be cut to your exact requirement free of charge. There are many types of grating available to order. If you cant see what you are looking for then please contact us. We may be able to assist you.

12mm Screen-Guard

This grating is just 12mm thick with a 50mm x 50mm mesh pattern. It is sanded flat on both sides and has been developed primarily for use as a screen guard or a handrail infill panel although it has many other uses. This grating is Grey in colour and is available in 3660mm x 1220mm sheets.

14mm Mini-Mesh

Our 14mm thick mini-mesh grating has been designed to be fixed directly to an existing solid surface.

The small holes (just 12mm square) make it ideal for pontoons, marinas, ramps and walkways etc.

Available from stock in panel size 3660mm x 1220mm in Black, Grey and Yellow.

20mm Standard Grating

Our 20mm thick grating is stocked only in green with a gritted anti-slip surface at 2000mm x 1000mm.

20mm grating has been developed for use where the loads imposed are light and the grating can be fixed directly to an existing solid floor surface.

Use in conjunction with our 20mm thick ramp edgings to create a seamless walkway.

25mm Standard Grating

Our standard 25mm thick grating is available in Green, Yellow and Grey. Ideal for pedestrian walkways.

Sheet sizes stocked are 2000mm x 1000mm, 3000mm x 1000mm and 3660mm x 1220mm.

All 25mm thick panels have a 38mm x 38mm mesh pattern and have a gritted surface for maximum anti-slip properties.

A range of fixing clips are available from stock.

25mm Solid surface

Solid surface grating is manufactured using a standard grating panel with a solid fibreglass sheet bonded to the surface. The finish can be smooth, (glass like) gritted or chequer plate.

The plate can be any thickness and can be bonded to any thickness of grating and any colour.

Our stock panels are 2000mm x 1000mm in Grey and Green both at 25mm thick. All other sizes and RAL colours can be made to order.

30mm Mini-Mesh

30mm mini-mesh is available in 2000mm x 1000mm panels in Green or Grey from stock.

Other sizes and colours can be made to order.

The small holes (just 12mm square) make it ideal for load bearing conditions.

38mm Standard Grating

Our standard 38mm thick grating is available in Green, Yellow and Grey from stock. Ideal for that extra load requirement.

Sheet sizes stocked are 2000mm x 1000mm, 3000mm x 1000mm and 3660mm x 1220mm. All 38mm thick panels have a 38mm x 38mm mesh pattern and have a gritted surface for maximum anti-slip properties.

A range of fixing clips are available from stock.

50mm Standard Grating

This is our heaviest duty grating. 50mm thick with a 50mm x 50mm mesh pattern.

Available in 200mm x 1000mm and 3660mm x 1220mm panels in Green only. Other RAL colours can be manufactured to order.

Concave Surface

Concave surface grating is simply standard grating panels without the gritted surface finish.

The concave effect is created during the curing process when the top surface naturally shrinks back to create the effect.

This type of grating is stocked in small quantities and can be made to order in any size panel and RAL colour. A sanded smooth surface grating can also be manufactured which is ideal for decorative purposes.

Sanded Surface

Sanded surface grating is simply standard grating panels without the gritted surface finish and sanded flat for a smooth finish to both sides of the grating.

This type of grating is often used for decorative purposes but still retains its structural integrity.

This type of grating is stocked only in 12mm thick grey colour but can be made to order in any size panel and RAL colour.

Pultruded Gratings

Pultruded gratings are available in a wide range of panel sizes and depths.

This type of grating is stocked in small quantities and can be made to order in any RAL colour with a variety of surface finishes and profile designs.
